Balance Psychiatric Services provides mental health care to individuals ages 5 and up in the states of Alaska, Arizona, Florida, Idaho, Iowa, Maine, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Montana, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Mexico, New Jersey, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Washington DC, Washington, Wyoming, Utah, and Vermont. Balance Psychiatric Services provides evaluation and medication management for all psychiatric conditions as well as psychiatric consultation for medical procedures such as weight loss surgery. Balance Psychiatric Services is co-owned by Dr. Alicia Berger DNP and Madeline Jacobs MSN.

Maria Stathakis is the Office Manager for Balance Psychiatric Services. Maria has a Bachelors degree in Healthcare Management. She has extensive experience working in mental health care. She speaks English, Spanish, and Greek.
Carol D’Agostino is an Office Assistant for Balance Psychiatric Services. She completed an internship with Balance Psychiatric Services and recently graduated with Honors from Assumption University. She is interested in pursuing a career in psychological services post-graduation. She has worked with individuals with disabilities in various settings.
Charity Maxwell is an Office Assistant for Balance Psychiatric Services. She has a Bachelors degree from Florida State University in Psychology and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at Carlos Albizu University. Her past experience includes working as an administrative assistant for diverse student populations and a psychological research assistant.
Carol Grieve is the Billing Manager for Balance Psychiatric Services. Carol has a Bachelors degree in Business Management. She brings over 20 years experience in healthcare in both billing and patient care. She enjoys working in mental health care and working with clients. Dr. Alicia Berger is a board certified Family Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She graduated from the University of South Alabama with a Doctorate in Nursing Practice. She has been practicing in the psychiatric field since 2010. She has worked in many settings including outpatient, inpatient, consultation, and forensic as a nurse, manager, and nurse practitioner. She treats ages 5 and up. She is licensed in Alaska, Arizona, Florida, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Washington, and Vermont.
Madeline Jacobs is a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She holds a Master of Science in Nursing from Oregon Health & Science University and has been working in the psychiatric field since 2015. She has worked at the Los Angeles LGBT Center, the largest LGBT Center in the country, and would love the opportunity to broaden the reach of LGBTQ+ affirming mental health care through telepsychiatry. She is trained in EMDR (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing), an evidence-based trauma therapy. She takes a trauma-informed perspective on mental health care. She specializes in ADHD, anxiety, depression, and transgender-related mental health care. She treats patients ages 18 to 65 and is licensed in Minnesota, Washington, and Oregon. She speaks English and Spanish.
Dr. Davonna (Dee) Wilson is a board certified Family Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (The University of Texas at Arlington) and a certified Family Nurse Practitioner (University of South Alabama). She has been practicing for over 12 years.
Dr. Wilson specializes in Eating Disorders, Depression, Child and Adolescent, Bipolar Disorder, Behavior/Conduct, LGBTQ+, Anxiety and Anger Management. As a Veteran of the United States Army Dr. Wilson has experience in Military Related Trauma and PTSD. She is now accepting new patients of all ages and is licensed in Arizona, Florida, Idaho, Iowa, Maine, New Mexico, Oregon, Washington DC, and Washington. She speaks English and Spanish.
Theresa Webster is a board certified Family Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She holds a Masters of Science degree in Nursing from the Mass College of Pharmacy. She has worked for the past 10 years with individuals with traumatic brain injury as well as patients with intellectual disabilities. She also specializes in the treatment of depression, anxiety, PTSD, and ADHD. She is now accepting patients of all ages in Florida, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Oregon, and Washington.

She has been practicing in the psychiatric field since 2010. She has worked in many settings including outpatient, inpatient, and forensic as a nurse and nurse practitioner. Talia Baruch is a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a Masters of Science in Nursing from Cal State University, Long Beach. With over 5 years of experience in healthcare, Talia has developed a strong belief in approaching mental wellness through a holistic and integrative lens. She focuses on understanding each individual's unique symptoms, background, environmental stressors, and strengths with compassion and patience. She also prioritizes collaborating together in developing a treatment plan that feels right for her patients personal goals. Talia is currently accepting new patients (ages 18+) with a full spectrum of psychiatric symptoms. She is licensed in Oregon, Washington, and Florida (pending).
Dr. Kathryn Hudzema graduated from Robert Morris University with a Doctorate in Nursing Practice in the specialty of Family Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She completed a clinical experience while in school with Dr. Alicia Berger DNP in the Spring and Summer of 2021. She brings with her the experience of being a psychiatric registered nurse for 8 years. She is currently a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner Intern with our practice as she passed her certification exam but is in process of licensing as a nurse practitioner in multiple states, and credentialing with insurance panels. She is now fully licensed in WA.
