🔍 No More Guessing. No More Guilt.
Just Answers That Make Sense.
These ADHD symptoms bring patients to us every day:
🌀 Task paralysis – knowing what needs to get done but feeling physically stuck
🕓 Time blindness – always running late or losing hours to hyperfocus
💬 Rejection sensitivity – spiraling from one piece of feedback
🔁 ADHD doom piles – cluttered corners that feel emotionally overwhelming
📱 Screen time spirals – endless scrolling because starting anything feels impossible
😩 Mental exhaustion – from masking, overthinking, or doing everything last-minute
📚 “All-or-nothing” productivity – hyperfocusing all day or doing absolutely nothing
If this sounds familiar, you are not “lazy” or “disorganized”—you might have ADHD.
At Balance Psychiatric Services, we don’t just look at checklists—we listen to your story. We know ADHD looks different for everyone. Whether you’re a student drowning in assignments, a professional burning out from masking, or a parent always forgetting appointments—we’re here for you.
No unnecessary testing: We do not require neuropsychological testing. Diagnosis is based on clinical evaluation, history, and current symptoms.
When clinically appropriate, treatment may include medication, therapy recommendations, behavioral strategies, or a combination of approaches.
Prescribing decisions — including stimulant or non-stimulant medications — are based on individualized clinical assessment and safety considerations. An ADHD diagnosis is not guaranteed. Medications are not guaranteed, and not all patients are appropriate candidates.
If you live in one of the states below, when clinically appropriate and permitted by law, treatment options may include non-stimulant and stimulant via telehealth:
📍 Washington D.C., Oregon, Washington, California, Connecticut, Florida, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Arizona, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, and Utah
If you live in one of the states below, when clinically appropriate and permitted by law, treatment options may include non-stimulant medications (but not stimulant medications) via telehealth:
📍 Alaska, Colorado, Delaware, Hawaii, Idaho, Iowa, Maine, Maryland, Minnesota, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, New Jersey, New York, North Dakota, Ohio, Vermont, Virginia, & Wyoming
If a controlled medication such as a stimulant is prescribed, additional requirements for evaluation and appropriate monitoring may apply according to clinician judgment, and state/federal regulations. If additional requirements are necessary, we will explain those requirements and provide options. Please keep in mind that there is no guarantee prescription medication will be prescribed to you as your unique treatment plan depends on your individual needs. A treatment plan can only be developed after a comprehensive evaluation.
